Winter Sports. Reindeer - horse-drawn sleds - spectators on skis. 3. Award Presentation Ceremony. Official signs and presents awards to a sailor and a soldier - all pose for photographers. 4. Representative Joseph G. Cannon of Illinois. Cannon poses on Capitol steps in Washington, D.C. 5. James B. Angell, beloved president emeritus of the University of Michigan who passed away at his home in Ann Arbor on April 1, 1916. Dr. Angell held the presidential chair for 40 years, 1871 to 1911. 6. Third Liberty Loan. Detroit goes Over the Top. First big city to exceed her quota in Third Liberty Loan [1918] is awarded the Liberty Loan Flag. John W.
